Eclipse!!!

Last night we saw Eclipse. That's right, the day before it came out...again.
I swear everyone in Utah sees it the day before it comes out somehow.
Anyway it was so much fun. I loved seeing the movie with everyone.
We ended up seeing it 1 1/2 times. It is a long story that involves lots of fast driving, running in and out of theatres, and sweet talking our way into a few theatres.
Let's just say always check your ticket for the time and location of a movie, even if you are told it is at the district at 6.
It may just be at Jordan Commons at 5:15.
This will go down as one of the most memorable nights ever.
We had a blast.
Does it look like we are the only ones in the theatre? That is because we are! We got it all to ourselves.

Hello Edward.

Treat baskets from my mom. She is THE BEST. She bought us lotion and put an Edward sticker on the front. I love the cookie on the right.

I love the cups!

Happy Father's Day

It is amazing how much impact this man has on all of our lives.
The kids love him to death. They love to spend all of their time with him.
Well, at least the boys do. Brian went to get Sarah out of bed the other morning and he sat down with her and she just cried so hard. I think she knew he couldn't feed her.
Every day that Brian comes home the boys get so excited. I don't think they even realize that I am alive when Brian is around.
Brian makes so many sacrifices for our family. He works so hard to make us happy.
I am constantly hearing my friends complain about their husbands not helping around the house or with the kids.
Brian is just the opposite. He is always cleaning the house and taking the kids on an outing when I need a break. He is always outside playing with the kids and even other people's kids who would love for their dad's to play with them but they are too busy watching t.v. inside.
Thank you Brian for showing our boys how to be a great father.
We love you.

This picture is a great example of why you need to take pictures of the kids before church. Sam got drenched while playing in the sprinklers and we had to take his shirt off. Oh well.

Such a Sweet Boy

Last week, Brian went to St. George and decided to take Sam with him. I was so happy because Sam needs some one on one time with Brian and he needs that attention, being the middle child.
I really missed not having him at home. It seemed really boring without him.
So when he came home he walked straight over to me and just hugged me for such a long time. He was so happy to see me.
I see him all day every day and a lot of the time he is spitting at me or telling me no or throwing fits on the ground. Most of the time it doesn't seem like he likes me much. It was such a good feeling when he hugged me for such a long time and didn't want to let go. It reassured me that I am doing a pretty good job and reminded me that he does love me. I sure love him.

Speaking of hugging girls, Sam has been doing a lot of that lately. He loves to hold and kiss Sarah. But I have noticed that he is always hugging and laying on top of the cute little neighbor girl that Danny has a crush on. He does whatever Danny does so I think Sam has a crush on her too. She isn't the only one he does that to. Hmmm. I wonder if this is just the beginning...

Giving Sarah Kisses

Brian bought this adorable outfit for her while he was in CA. I love it.

Her head looks as big as his...

Books, songs, and an art piece

Alright I am getting bored with doing these things everyday, so I am going to start combining them. So I love to read. Then I had Sarah and the only time I felt like I had time was when I was feeding her so I took a little break and need to start reading again.
Any recommendations?
I love to be entertained while I read. With that being said my favorite books are
the books in the Twilight series (Eclipse was my favorite)
Hunger Games
the Shopoholic books (Shopoholic and Baby is my favorite) - so hilarious!
I know these books are not very deep but they are fun to read.

A song that makes me cry (or nearly)
Well there isn't a song that makes me cry every time I hear it but 3 songs that fill me with emotion are:

Stand By Me by Ben E. King

Every time I hear this song, I think of my Dad.

The second song is Defying Gravity in the broadway, Wicked. Only when I see it on Broadway though. The last time I saw it, I had to hold back tears because it was so powerful. I won't give too much away in case you haven't seen it but the notes that Elphaba hits in that song just amaze me.

The third song is Seasons of Love from the broadway, Rent. I have seen Rent 3 times and I could see it 10 more. I love this song and I wish I could have been there to see the original cast perform it. That would have been out of this world.

My favorite art piece would have to be this:
Danny drew this picture of Brian the other day. It makes me laugh. He looks like a bear.

Whatever tickles your fancy

Yoga
I love yoga.
Up until a few weeks ago, I have been doing all cardio classes at the gym. I asked my friend, who is a yoga instructor, why I wasn't losing weight. She told me that I needed to work on classes that strengthened my muscles instead of only cardio. I started taking yoga and now I love it. I love it so much that I take all yoga classes except for one cardio class a week.
I have been trying to get Brian to take it with me and he finally decided to! I was happy that he tried it and he even said he would do it again.
I love how yoga makes me feel. It has helped me feel confident about myself.
In one of the first yoga classes I took, the instructor talked to us about being grounded. She said we should try to find peace that day instead of being stressed about everything. I started crying. Luckily no one noticed. I had so many things planned that day that I was stressed about. Luckily all of my plans got cancelled and I was able to relax and find peace. I realized that I fill my life with too many things that don't matter.
And how amazing are these photos of my friend, Sariah! Stunning.

A photo of you taken over 10 years ago.

Ok so my scanner doesn't work so these aren't great quality. I wasn't in the mood to search through all of my old pictures so here are a few that were easy to find.

High School
I get nervous putting pictures of people on my blog who I haven't seen or talked to for a really long time so I cut the other girl out from this picture. I had the funnest time in high school. I am so glad that I am not in high school anymore but it is so fun to look back on the great memories.

4 years old
This is my 2 brothers and I. I am on the left. So I would be Danny's age, Tim (yellow) would be Sam's age and Patrick (baby) would be Sarah's age. How weird.

A photo taken of you recently

Ok I know I am going out of order but I need to go find old pictures of me and that will take some time so until I find those, I will go onto the next day. So for some reason I love to act goofy in pictures. I love to look back at them and laugh. My 2 girlfriends, Kristin and Sariah, and I went to dinner and Sariah whipped out her camera and I was in the back all by myself so I did this. It makes me laugh. I am such a dork. But so are the other 2. Kristin said it looked like I was praying.
