Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah!

The more I write that word, the more I realize how weird it is. Anyway, I am so happy right now. I have been working on combining my videos from my regular camera and my videos from my video camera for over a year now. I have had 0% success until the past couple of weeks. The reason why is because my video camera automatically puts the video onto a DVD and I cannot do anything to break it apart. Then I met an awesome guy named Randy and he converted it so that I can break it apart and combine it with other videos!!! Then I realized that my Mac will not take my videos from a disc that I took with my regular camera. I was so frustrated!!! I called apple this morning and asked him what I could do and he gave me a website that I can use to convert my files into a file that works with the Mac. Let me also say that I have tried this before and I couldn't figure it out. So I tried this new website and IT WORKED!! It converted my files so that they work with imovie!!! Sorry if I totally lost you. This has been so confusing and I keep yelling at Brian to figure it out because I keep thinking he should know more than me but it turns out that he doesn't when it comes to computers. So I finally figured it all out after a year of stressing about it every day (I'm not kidding). Yaaaaaaaaay!!!! I just had to celebrate! I am so proud that I am pretty much the smartest person in the world and figured it out myself. Well except for the part Randy did. I would like to thank myself (of course) and I would also like to thank Randy and the apple customer service guy that recommended the website I used. So here is a video I converted that is so cute of Danny 2 years ago.

Homemade gift

My friend Kristin is participating in this fun idea on her blog. Be sure to be one of the first five people to respond to this post. I hereby commit to offer the first five individuals to comment on this post a homemade gift of my choosing; however, in order to post a comment, you have to first post this on your own blog and agree to do the same for another five people. You in turn have the opportunity to do likewise to this post and be the recipient of a fun homemade gift from me. Let me just say that the only reason I am doing this is because Kristin is so crafty and makes the cutest things.

There are of course some restrictions.

1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. This thing will be completed sometime this year.
4. You have no clue what it will be.
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

Weekend in St George

Over Valentine's, Brian and I took the boys to St George. It was so fun! We went to the Parade of Homes which was incredible! The rest of the time we watched tv, scrapbooked (0nly I did that), and ate. Pretty low key but very fun.
Danny was so excited to help me make heart sugar cookies. He wants to do everything by himself. He has to cut the shapes out and put them on the pan. Luckily we weren't giving them to anyone.

Danny enjoyed his cookie that he made.

Sam loves bathrooms. Probably because the toilet and bathtub are a perfect height for him to stand up against.

Danny's "secret admirer" gave him lots of goodies and he didn't understand the concept of saving suckers for later so he gave one to me, one to Sam, one to Brian, and put 2 in his mouth.

The boys "secret admirer" also gave them these cute little piggy banks with their names on them.

Sam's 1 year pictures

My sister, Elizabeth took these pictures of Sam when he turned 1. We kind of just set up our own "studio" so the lighting isn't amazing but I love the pictures.

Cheesy Smiles

My friend, Tori posted the funniest picture of her little boy smiling so cheesy. It was so funny. I love this age because they get the funniest little smiles and I was looking through Danny's scrapbook and he had the exact same smile that Sam has at the exact same age. The top 2 are Sam, the bottom 2 are Danny.
