Smiles, Soccer, and Surprises

I need to look at this picture whenever Danny stresses me out. What a cutie.

I loved this picture of Danny smiling. I took him to the zoo and he was so happy to be on the merry go round. My cute friend Jennie (and her son Chase) went with us and took this picture. I was such a mess this day and I totally look like it. It wasn't the best day so I am glad I can remember how much fun Danny had.

Thanks for the cute pictures, Jennie.

Danny's first soccer game! He was so cute and happy when they were warming up. But it started getting really cold and the team we played against was 2 years older than us. Plus our team didn't even know how to play so it was a disaster. By the end of the game, all of the kids were crying and shivering. We asked the other team if we could end 5 minutes early (we never did score a goal) and they said NO. It was sad. Hopefully they have more fun next game.

Um no Danny, you are suppose to stand in front of the goal. I wish I would've gotten a picture of the kids on his team laying on the grass and wrestling during the game.

Home at last!

Last night we celebrated our good friend, Kristin's birthday. Her husband, Brock, had a limo pick us up then we went and surprised her at her house with the limo. It was so fun! This is Brian and I in the limo.

Just the girls at dinner. Almost all of these girls went to high school together except for me but I just pretended like we had known each other for years. They were very sweet girls.

Here is the big group posing in front of the limo. Thanks Brock for planning this and thanks Kristen for turning 30!

I took this picture today at my little brother, Alex's tennis match. He took 2nd place for first doubles! Yay Alex. Anyway this is Sam and his uncle Tim with their hoodies.

Happy Easter

I have decided that every year the holidays just get better and better. We had such a wonderful Easter. We are so lucky to have our family to spend time with.

We went to Brian's parent's house for brunch. It was so yummy! It was fun to see Brian's sister and brother in law. They came to visit from AZ.

The Easter bunny left a trail of easter eggs. Danny ran straight to the presents but Sam stopped at each egg to taste the treats.

Candy for breakfast...

Thank you Paul and Janell for the adorable Easter outfits! You can't go wrong with Janie and Jack.

Time for the Easter Egg Hunt! Uncle Bobby was coaching Danny and helping him get a lot of candy.

Good thing there wasn't much competition for the candy. That is Sophie, Danny's cousin, in the middle.

This picture makes me laugh so hard. Every year, we crowd around the door, waiting for my parent's to lay all of the candy on the grass for us and then the second they are done, we run like wild animals trying to get as much as we can. I am pretty sure we are all the only adults who act like this. We look exactly the same as we did 15 years ago at our Easter Egg Hunts.

Yay! We did such a good job!

Ok I had to add these pictures of my adorable nieces in Texas. I miss them so much but they are coming to visit very soon! I love them!

My sister and her daughters in their beautiful Easter dresses. It is a good thing I don't have a girl yet because I would go crazy with adorable girl clothes.

I love this boy!!!

Well I love all of the boys in my family but I just have to talk about how cute Danny has been lately. I also realized that I can't post only pictures of Danny without including Sam.
This was Danny at Brian's work. They had the kids come and decorate cookies. They always do fun stuff like that at his work. I love it.

Today Brian's family came over to decorate easter eggs. Danny got so excited and kept saying how beautiful the eggs were. This morning Danny came with me to get Sam out of bed and Danny reached his arm through the bars and started rubbing Sam's head. While rubbing his head, he looked at Sam and said, "Sam you are so beautiful". Danny is the sweetest brother. He plays catch with Sam and whenever Sam throws it back he gets a big grin on his face and cheers for Sam.

I love his smile. Brian's parent's brought him over a bunny cupcake and boy was he happy.

It took me a month to take this picture but Danny got his alphabet crown at Challenger!!! You get your alphabet crown when you know all of your letters and their sounds. Danny loves to learn. He has even started reading! He is so smart.

My friend, Kristen, made these adorable pants for the boys. Danny was so excited to wear them because they have the Utah logo on them. Thanks Kristen!!

Brian's parents are always buying the boys shoes. Yesterday they bought the boys matching red shoes. This is the best picture I could get of them. This was right after they ate tons of candy at Brian's work so they couldn't sit still. Thank you Thank you Thank you to Brian's parent's for all of their adorable shoes.

I love this boy too!

This is a video of Danny cleaning the table. If I leave the cleaner out, he will clean the same spot over and over again until I take it away. I love the huge amount of paper towels he used. He just kept adding more and more. I also like the bunny ears he wore all day too.

A fun week

We had a really busy, fun filled week so here are a few pictures.

I took this video while I was trying to feed Sam. He is such a stinker.

The other day, my mom, my sister (Whitney), and I took the kids to see the Easter Bunny. Danny was so excited...

...but still kept his distance.

This year's easter bunny pictures remind me a little of last year's easter bunny picture. There is Danny again, keeping his distance.

Bunny Ears.

This is a picture of Leeann Whiffen and I at Leeann's book signing (if you didn't read my earlier post about her, she is a friend of mine who wrote the book A Child's Journey Out of Autism). I admire her so much that while I was telling her how amazing she is I started crying. I am such an emotional wreck sometimes and I just can't help it. Lately I have been thinking that I am not trying hard enough in certain areas and I think part of my little meltdown was because of that. Poor Leeann. She was just trying to downplay all of the hard work she does while I am crying to her about how wonderful she is. Sorry again, Leeann. Anyway it was so fun.

I just thought this was funny. Danny was trying to look just like Buzz Lightyear.

This is a picture of my friends, Tori and Heather at Heather's baby shower. We have been friends since middle school. I am so glad that we have stayed close this long. I love these girls.
