Happy Thanksgiving

This week I have been overwhelmed with gratitude for how wonderful our lives are. There have been several tragedies this weekend and it has made me sad but also made me so thankful for everything we have. When I think of my blessings, I automatically think of my wonderful family.

Danny made this at preschool (he has been having accidents and I have stopped caring about him wearing his pants).

I am so thankful for Brian. He helps me out so much. He is always helping me clean and will get up with the boys and let me sleep in when I am really tired. He is always trying to make my life better. He is the hardest worker I know. I am so thankful for what he does for this family.

I am so lucky to have my 2 boys. They make me so happy. Danny is so smart and so full of energy. I love that he is constantly giving me hugs and smiling all the time. He didn't use to very much but now he does. Whenever he hits someone he will come up and tell me. He has a passion for life. Sam is just a little angel. He is so sweet and makes me so happy. I am so lucky that these boys chose me.

We had such a wonderful week of shopping, tennis with the girls, football for the boys, 2 movies (hmmm... who was more fun to watch, Daniel Craig or Hugh Jackman... I have to go with the sexiest man alive, Hugh), blasting guitar hero all night long, and lots of eating (like this chocolate cookie I got Danny at Gateway).

Best Day Ever!

Ok maybe Saturday wasn't the BEST day ever but it was pretty awesome. I started out the day playing some guitar hero world tour with my bandmates (I was the singer, Brian was on the guitar and Danny was on the drums). We rocked out to a few songs and I raced over to see the movie Twilight with my sisters, mom, and our good friends, the Lofgren's. The movie was much better than I thought it would be. I loved it (except for the terrible special effects). I was just giddy the whole time. My mom and I agreed that we haven't been this excited during a movie, ever! It was so fun! Oh! And I can't forget to mention they showed the preview for Confessions of a Shopaholic before the movie! I can't wait to see it! Thank you Abby for insisting that I read those hilarious books. Then we went to Cheesecake Factory (one of my very favorite restaraunts). After that, we hurried to the Utah Football game where we KILLED byu. I was so happy that we won! GO UTES!! So that was my (almost) best day ever.

We had these one of a kind shirts made by my sister, Elizabeth's boyfriend. Thank you Randy! In case you can't read them, they say Edward...bite me. I kept leaning over to one of the girls and commenting on how cute Jasper and James were during the movie. Edward was cute too.

We have season tickets right in front of Brian's family.
Danny was so nice to take a break from the drums to hug Sam for a picture. Sam woke up a few minutes before the picture.

Dinner with Friends

I just stole this picture off my friends blog. So the other night my neighborhood friends went to see Twilight at midnight but I had a big thing planned to see it with my family at another time so I decided not to go. I just decided last minute to go to dinner with them after a wedding shower. I was so happy I went. It was so fun. I love these girls. They are so down to earth and I get along with them so well. Yes I do realize that my hands look really weird. I thought everyone was doing a funny pose.

Thanks girls, for inviting me and making me laugh so hard.

Picture Tag

I have been tagged by Annie. I was suppose to post the 6th picture in my 6th folder. So here it is.

This picture is so sweet. I haven't noticed it much until now. This was taken last February during a huge snow storm. I think that Danny is stuck in the snow and can't get out so he is reaching for Brian. This also makes me so grateful that it isn't snowing now. I am never ready for the snow. Now I tag Heather, Tori, Jennie, Michelle, Abby, Emilee and whoever else wants to do this. 6th folder, 6th picture

Disney On Ice!!

Brian's parent's bought us tickets to go see Disney on Ice. We were so excited because we are going through Disneyland withdrawals so this is the closest thing we can get to being there. It was really fun besides the fact that Brian had to go on a last minute business trip and both of the boys woke up at 5 a.m. that morning.

Thanks Paul and Janell for taking us!

Yay! Churros! Danny loves churros (probably because we get one every time we go to Costco), so Paul went and bought him one.

Sam would not sit still. He was so tired. I was really wanting Brian to be there.

Cotton Candy!

I was sad Brian couldn't come but we were so happy that Sophie could make it with her mom (and my sister), Whitney. Sophie got in trouble by the Usher because she was dancing on the stairs during the show. It was so cute. She loved it.

School Pictures

Danny had his school pictures taken at preschool. Doesn't he look so adorable!

Sleepy Guy

So yesterday for some really annoying reason, Danny woke up at 5:30 in the morning. So we went about the day as usual and since he doesn't take naps anymore, I have to get my scrapbooking done while he is awake. I decided to turn a movie on for him but he decided to drive me crazy instead of watching it. After making a huge mess in the computer room, I told him he could either clean it up or leave the room and watch the movie. He left the room and whined for about 15 minutes. After a while I could hear something that sounded like snoring. I went to go see what it was and saw Danny asleep in Sam's play thing (I can't think of what it is called). Poor guy. I forgot that he had woken up so early. This is how I feel some days.

I finally had an excuse...

to see High School Musical 3! I know, I know, I am a dork but I saw the first 2 on the disney channel and wanted to see the 3rd. My friend Lori and I were planing on taking our kids to see Madagascar 2 (which I was not too excited about) when Lori's daughter, Maddie said that she wanted to see High School Musical 3. I quickly volunteered to take her instead of seeing Madagascar 2. Lori was happy about that so she took her kids and Danny while I took Maddie. Throughout the movie she kept explaning things to me about the characters. I acted like I had no idea but I actually already knew everything she was telling me. Anyway I loved the movie! Brian told me that there is talk that a movie studio is going to do a Footlose movie with Zac Efron and I can't wait.

Go Utes!

On Thursday I finally got to go to a Utah football game. We have season tickets but I have just stayed home with Sam for every game until the game against TCU. I had so much fun and also thought I was going to have a heart attack because I was so nervous but at the end but we pulled through and won 13-0. I am so proud of the Utes this year! We are undefeated and ranked 7th!

Trick Or Treat

My neighbor let us borrow this wolf costume (thanks, Desiree). Isn't it so cute?

Cute little pumpkin

Every year we get to go trick or treating at Brian's work. Danny gets so shy but we force him to say thank you to everyone. He just whispers it so quietly. He loves it so much.

Brian and Danny trick or treating.

Halloween Parties

Our Annual Cannon Halloween Party

Danny was a wolf, Brian was a pirate, Sam was a pea in a pod, and I was a dancer from the 80's. I use to wear my bangs like that too! Gross. Believe it or not, that shiny redness on my legs was a unitard.

A carrot and a pea in a pod.

Danny's Preschool Halloween Party

I decided just to have Danny be a skeleton because it would be easier to wear during preschool. He hated me putting the makeup on his face and started crying so that is why it looks so messy.

He is so quiet and shy at preschool.

Carving Pumpkins

Every year at Halloween we carve pumpkins at Brian's parent's house. It is always so much fun.

Good job Brian for carving Sam's pumpkin.

Danny drew a face on the pumpkin and I carved it. I was happy that I didn't have to be creative.

Danny picked out all of our pumpkins. The smallest one was picked for Brian. His is the Pumpkin with the U on it. Mine is the one with the circles for the eyes, nose, and mouth. Like I said I didn't want to be creative this year.
