Those Eyes

I know that this picture doesn't do his eyes justice but he really has the prettiest eyes.

Texas!

Last week Sam and I went to Texas with my mom, sister, and niece to visit my other sister and her family. Brian stayed home with Danny because I didn't want to pay $400 for him to fly there.I don't even remember what this resteraunt was called but it was mexican food and so good. I loved being able to eat outside in the 80 degree weather. It was so pretty too.

Cute little Sam in his summer outfits.

Abby and Sophie loved playing with Sam. It got so hot in our apartment that we took all of the kids clothes off. We were so relieved when they fixed the AC.

Abby insisted on riding in her stroller like this. She did it every time we went somewhere. It was so funny.

Although this should have been a hint that after our first store we had bought too much but that didn't stop us. I mean come on PotteryBarn outlet! We were in heaven. And yes we were standing there talking and we heard a big crash and the stroller had fallen backwards with Sophie in it.

Another Boy Who Loves The Water

If you know anything about Danny, you know that he loves the water. He takes a bath and then jumps in the shower with me every morning. While we were in Texas, I gave Sam a bath without the sponge that I usually lay him on. He just loved it because he was sliding all over the bath tub. Ever since then I haven't put the sponge underneath him and he gets so excited to take a bath now. He is just like Danny.

On Oprah Today...

They are talking about makeovers to your home and all of the new high-tech gadgets that they have for your home. They are having some people from control 4 on the show (that is where Brian works) to talk about their systems so make sure to watch, it should be really cool.

So Polite

Danny has always been very good with using his manners. When he says excuse me it sounds more like excue mes. Every time we go to a drive thru, he has to say excue mes to the car in front of us because he is tired of waiting. Last night he started throwing up in his bed and after every time he threw up he would say excue mes. Poor guy. This morning I went to make him some toast and he told me to sit down and he grabbed his stool and made it himself ( or at least attempted to make it, he needed a little help). What a good boy.

Today will be a long day

This is what Danny tried to flush down the toilet today. Luckily there was too much toilet paper that it didn't even get close.

Thanks Dad

When Brian came home from Vegas he brought back these cute sweatshirts for the boys. I was so proud of him. Growing up, whenever my family would go on vacations, we had to go shopping. Whether it was at Disneyland shopping for stuffed animals or trying to find the biggest Nordstrom we could, we loved to shop on vacations. This was something Brian was definitely not use to so I have worked on getting him use to it. That is why I was so proud that he went shopping all by himself and picked out these cute clothes. I love how they bring out the color in both of their eyes ( I think that is what he was thinking of when he bought them).

That is soup from Zupas that he is eating. I couldn't get him to stop eating for the longest time but who can blame him?

Good thing I took the 1st picture when I did.

You Can Never Have Too Many Baby Hats

I have been taking pictures of Sam and sending them to people who have given him gifts. All of these hats were gifts and I thought they were so adorable.
This was made by my aunt Suzette.

This was given to Sam by my Aunt Deb.

This was made by my sister, Whitney. I love the colors.

Danny & Jackson

Danny and his friend, Jackson were playing at our house the other day and I walked into Danny's room and found them both laying in his bed. Jackson was loving it but Danny was a little nervous because he was not ready for a nap. Maybe it is time for Jackson to move into a big boy bed, don't you think Kendra?

Don't Let Your Kids Eat Only Ice Cream For Dinner

So Brian went out of town for 3 days this week and Danny, Sam and I went to my cousin, Annie's house for dinner. Danny was so excited to be playing with Jack (left) that he wouldn't eat dinner. So after we watched American Idol, we ate ice cream and of course Danny ate a ton of it. As you can see by his face, he was very hyper and didn't fall asleep until 10:30. He also woke up at 6:00 the next morning. But we did have a lot of fun. Also while I am giving advice, don't let your kids take bouncy balls to church.
