Goodbye Oliver

Today my family dog, Oliver was put to sleep. I am sure nobody really cares about the dog that I grew up with but I love him so I have to pay him a little tribute. I got a text today from my sister saying that he has cancer and it had spread throughout his whole body and that the doctor wanted to put him to sleep. The rest of my family who still lives at home with him is on a trip to Disneyland right now and they really wanted to say goodbye to him but he was in so much pain that my sister just had him put to sleep. Since I am such an emotional mess during my pregnancy, I just sat on my couch and cried when my sister said that he had cancer. Sam was a little confused at why I was suddenly crying so he walked around pretending to cry also. It was pretty funny. So I took the kids to McDonalds because Brian is out of town again and I needed something to make the time go by faster. While the kids were playing, my sister sent me a text saying that he was put to sleep so I started crying again in McDonalds. Luckily a lot of the people there seemed a little crazy anyway so I didn't care. That was a little rude but true. Anyway, ever since we got Oliver, 10 years ago, I have grown to really appreciate and love dogs. Oliver was so sweet. My boys just loved him to death. Every time Sam walked into my parents house, he would yell out Oliver's name and chase him around the house. I know they will miss him. I love you Oliver and we will miss you!

We celebrated his birthday every year. People made fun of us but we loved it.

New Moon!!

It seems like I have been waiting for this movie to come out forever! We finally got to see New Moon. Not only that but we got tickets yesterday, the day before it came out! We got so lucky! It was so fun. Any chance I have to go out with the girls and see a movie, I get really excited. I must say that Taylor Lautner stole the show. He is a much better actor than everyone else in the movie, I think. Plus he looked great! I also loved Michael Sheen but that was no surprise. Anyway the movie was good and I can't wait till June to see Eclipse. It will be so good!

Halloween fun!

So blogging hasn't been at the top of my list of things to do so I apologize for the overload of pictures. We had a fun Halloween!

Delta Gamma Halloween party. A bunch of girls from my sorority planned a Halloween party. It was so much fun. I loved seeing these girls.

Whitney (my sis) is the future wife of my brother, Alex (Jake is dressed up as him). Alex is going on a mission to Baton Rouge and Whitney is suppose to be the girl he meets there and ends up marrying. Whitney is pregnant but on her stomach it says "not Alex's". It was so funny.

The boys got so excited when it started snowing. They played in the snow all day. Sam loved getting all bundled up.

The boys picked out pumpkins at Brian's Grandpa Don's house. He grew them and was so proud.

Trick or Treating!

Sam was so excited about the Spongebob candy he got.

Danny wanted to ride his bike trick or treating. Every time someone would open the door, he would yell, "Happy Halloween!" He loved answering the door for trick or treaters. He would say thank you to them for coming. Halloween with kids is so much fun!

October

One of the things I love about fall is that there are always so many fun things to do. So here is what we have been up to.

St. George
We decided to make another trip to St. George. It was in the high 80's. What a nice warm break! It was so relaxing and fun.

We did a lot of eating. Of course we had to go eat at Nelson's Frozen Custard. I was so excited to find out that they had pumpkin ice cream! Yummmmm. It was delicious. I love this picture.

There isn't much that I love more than Danny's smile. I also love Cafe Rio which is what is all over his mouth. Danny was so happy to have Cafe Rio and then ice cream.

Sam was happy to be able to stand on the bench. A bunch of old ladies were asking what that was on his arm. It is a tattoo from Danny's birthday. It doesn't want to come off.

We went to Vegas the day of the Utah game. We didn't go to the game but we got to see Brian's sister, Kellie and her husband Ty. Danny had his arm around Ty and Brian so I decided to get a picture.

Since their isn't a ton to do in St. George, we went searching for different arcades. The boys LOVED IT. We went to a couple different places with arcades. Let me just say that this makes me so excited to have a girl. We can go get pedicures while the boys golf and play video games. That is pretty much all we did, we golfed, played at the arcades, played at the park and swam a lot.

We love food! In case you are wondering, I was there but I am just not in any of the pictures.

My birthday

Last week, we went to Tiburon with Brian for my birthday. It was delicious as always. I also went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch. It is always great to have good food on your birthday. I had a great birthday.

My friends and I went to dinner for my friend, Sariah's birthday. Happy Birthday, Sariah!

The only candle she had was the number 5. That was bad planning on our part. She was so happy anyway.

Gardner Village

We went to Gardner Village when it was still warm and saw the witches. Danny was nervous about the witch next to us. His favorite was the witch on the toilet.
