Western Caribbean at Sea

I was amazed at how many fun things there were to do on the ship while we were sailing.

We spent a lot of our time at the pool.  I loved laying out, ordering pina coladas and listening to the reggae music.  It was heaven.

The guys loved playing volleyball.  It was so fun to watch.

It is impossible for them to go a day without wrestling.

Elizabeth, Brian and I saw Hairspray and it really was done so well!  I felt like I was on broadway.

My cute Mom and Dad.
Awesome.

Wester Caribbean Cruise Day 1

It feels like we have been looking forward to this trip for so long.  I was so excited, last year when my parents suggested we go on a cruise when Elizabeth and Alex got home from their missions.  I was so excited when Brian and I were driving to the airport that I kept squealing.

Waiting at the airport!  We were so excited!!!!

Our favorite part of getting on the ship is to order pina coladas as we sail away.  Seriously HEAVEN.

Getting on the Ship
We have arrived!  Now get me off this bus!!!

Doing my little jig.

As you can see, we were all very excited to get on the ship.

Homemade Graham Crackers

I got this recipe from the book Marshmallow Madness by Shauna Sever. These recipes are TO DIE FOR and very easy to make. Here are the delicious graham crackers:

Homemade Graham crackers
About 4 dozen 2 1/2" crackers
2 C flour
1/2 C whole wheat flour
1/2 C packed dark brown sugar
1 t salt
1/2 t cinnamon
1 C unsalted butter, cut into small pieces (I actually like salted better)
1/4 C honey
Turbinado sugar, for sprinkling

In the bowl of a food processor, blend together the flour, whole wheat flour, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Add the butter pieces and the honey and blend until the mixture comes together. Scrape out the dough onto a sheet of plastic wrap and pat it into a rectangular shape; wrap well. Refrigerate until firm but still pliable, about 1 hour.

Position an oven rack in the center position and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Turn out the dough into a lightly floured surface and roll out thinly, about 1/8 inch thick. Cut out crackers with a 2-3 inch cookie cutter and place pieces on the prepared baking sheets, a dozen per sheet. Prick each one several times with a fork and sprinkle with turbinado sugar. Chill the pieces on the sheets at least 15 minutes before baking. Bake for 14-16 minutes until golden. Let sit 1 minute before transferring the crackers to a rack to cool completely.

Memorial Day BBQ and fun with friends

On Memorial Day, we had a BBQ with all of our neighbors and friends and it was a blast.  At the end, we got a few pictures
My sister, Elizabeth and her friend Katrina came.
 Great friends.

 Hands up Stands up
Sarah wanted her shirt off because Zoey took hers off.

I love taking pictures of the guys because they are always so akward, like they are in this one that Jenn took.

Sarah and her cute friend Zoey.  Zoey is 1 day older than Sarah and they love playing with each other.  The second Zoey walks in, her and Sarah go and change into these skirts.  I love it.  In this picture, they just walked around the house eating out of cereal.

Happy Birthday Jenn!
This is the year where a lot of my friends turn 30.  My friend, Jenn turned 30 and we went to breakfast.

Danny and Erika fell asleep watching a movie outside.  So cute!
